岗位职责:
Position Title: Sales Manager (South China)
Report to : China Country Manager
Location: Homebase (Guangzhou preferred)
Overview:
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing and expanding existing business relationships and the development of new business opportunities in the dietary supplement market in south China. Focus of this position is on achieving the budgeted sales for Kemin Human Nutrition and Health products, margin, operating income and sales expense financial indicators of the budget for the territory.
Responsibilities:
1.Lead Kemin Human Nutrition and Health expansion and sales growth in the territory. Achieve consistent growth in sales and gross margin in accordance with annual sales budgets.
2.Act as the primary interface between customers and Kemin.
3.Collaborate with the marketing department in developing and implementing a marketing plan for the territory.
4.Carry out specific responsibilities in each step of the sales process, which includes: Identifying prospective customers,developing, executing, documenting and maintaining sufficient customer sales projects to exceed sales growth expectations for the territory;
5.Authoring and executing strategic plans for key customers.
6.Establishing relationships with individuals at the all levels of the customers’ organization
7.Making technical sales presentations on Kemin products/services
8.Cooperating with product development efforts
9.Obtaining at least 20 face-to-face meetings with customers each month
10.Develops and maintains customer database. Assures maintenance of sales report database (Nexa)
11.Develop cooperative relationships with key customers and industry groups to strengthen the integration of Kemin Human Nutrition and Health products into the dietary supplement, food and beverage industries.
12.Complete appropriate reporting of customer activity in a timely fashion.
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor Degree preference for biology, chemistry or food science with 5-10 years of experience working in the dietary supplement, food ingredient, beverage or pharmaceutical industry.
2.Demonstrated sales experience and success an industrial/technical selling environment requiring lengthy and in-depth product development processes.
3.The ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with peers and all levels of management.
4.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
5.Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
6.Excellent problem solving skills.
7.A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution and a distinct sense of urgency.
